It's a Walmart, so it has what you expect. It's nice to be able to shop late at night, which I had to do after arriving on a late flight. They don't staff very many registers though. I think they really want to encourage you to use the self check-out.
Management needs to care more about the restrooms and their users. We needed the Family restroom recently, but it had become locked with no one inside. (The lock is supposed to be able to be set only from the inside, after the door has closed.)
It took more than 20 minutes(!) to get someone with a key to come open the room, but that fact--and the malfunctioning lock--did not seem to concern the manager who was involved.
Saw a Samsung 24" HD tv online, advertised at 69.00 with limited availability in the store near me. Went to the store, very helpful and friendly employees but they couldn't find one on dtocl. Started to order online, price jumped to 99.99. Won't be buying a tv at Wal-Mart.
Went in tonight after work. I tried to check out in the garden center. I had a bag of chicken jerky treats for my dog, there was a $2.00 peel off coupon on the bag which said save now. The cashier wouldn’t take it and argued about it. I asked for a manager more than once. There happened to be a radio on the counter and I got to hear 2 managers talk about “the lady with a coupon and basically not wanting to deal with it.” The cashier walked off from the register. I started emptying my bags back into the cart to just go up front to check out and use my coupon, at that point she came back and instead of canceling the transaction she took each item and voided taking an extra 5 minutes of my time. I went up front spoke to a CSM and checked out using the coupon with no problem. I still asked to see a manager the CSM just walked away like I hadn’t said a word. I tried to call back up there 2 times with no answer from a manager. Way to go Hoover Walmart “great customer service”
I will never use the “Pick up” service again. I ordered the items that said it was already in stock at a particular store weeks prior to my designated pick up date. My pick up date kept changing and once I finally got there to pick it up only 1 of 7 items were there ready. Then the workers were very unapologetic and didn’t care that they were basically ruining a child Christmas & did not try to come up with a solution. I even asked if i could get store credit while i was there so I could just pick out something else, but they claimed that was not possible . Then i received an email 2 days later saying I had just picked up 2 other items when in reality I hadn’t been back up there since Saturday December 16,2017 when I only gotten the 1 item i purchased. No one I dealt with seem concerned at all. I trusted Walmart when I placed my order weeks before Christmas, and now I have scrap up the money to go out last minute to find these gifts bc the refund to my card is going to takes days. I would have never ran into this at Target. They just lost a loyal customer and I will tell everyone I know about the horrible experience and service.
