On the upside, the store was very clean and I had a delicious cold brew coffee from the coffee stand, which I believe is run by Bham favorites Revelator Coffee...

Would like to see at least one simple veggie on the hot bar every day, such as a plain, steamed zucchini, yellow squash, cauliflower, or broccoli.. or a mix of those.

No, not cheap but beer selection and prices are competitive, bread is tasty, produce selection is way above average, and senior staff is helpful, spot-on, and very customer oriented. It's like having a cousin at Whole Foods.

Not as large as the one on 280. I'm missing the massive 280 meat department. The prepared foods section was clean, smelled delicious, and was a high point of the visit. The produce was also very fresh. The cheese counter didn't have a super exotic selection and the man working the counter didn't really meet my standards for the qualification of "cheese monger."

I'll be back to try more meats and cheeses, but I was a little let down after all the 2 year hype building up to the opening.

I was hoping for more from their food bar but I will continue to check back and see how it goes. I work in Atlanta every week and usually eat at the WF on exit 25 off 285. Their bar is really great. The Hoover WF can take a lesson from their chefs on the brisket and pulled pork.

Really good meat department. Easy to find food and nice open aisles. Plenty of helpful staff. I was disappointed with the bakery. There wasn't much selection and the desserts weren't that good.

Not 5 stars because they should have some cheap choices for everyday items.. Salt starting at $2.99?

If you're looking for that hard to find ingredient or for gourmet food items, this is for you. Excellent food and moderate prices makes Whole Foods a good place to shop. I particularly like the olive bar but there is also a nice variety of organically grown vegetables. Recommended.

The restaurant at the front, Hops 'N' Sauce, was nothing. Everything offered on their menu was also available on the hot bar in the "prepared foods" section. No need to eat there unless you're excited about eating in a grocery store.
