I needed to pick up a few items for my grandson and I am handicapped. The salesman was extremely helpful and picked up those items for me. He even brought me different colors for me to choose from for the water bottles. Very pleasant experience overall.
Not my favorite store to shop. HAD to go here because product was not available in large quantities in Alabaster store. Hard to find help on the floor. Had to speak to manager before he would price match an ad price published at Alabaster store. Front end crew was awesome. Polite and willing to take care of veterans, so I will give 3 stars for that at least.

Came to this Dick's because a specific ear warmer was said to be available online. I also had a coupon and am a rewards member with Dick's/Field and Stream. I proceed to look around the store for a few mintues before asking for help to find the specific ear warmers. An employee proceeds to point me in the right area. Still couldnt find the ear warmers, the employee says the reported inventory could be behind a day or two especially during this busy season. Very understandable, so I proceed to the register with the SKU ready to see if they can check their inventory before I drive to another store. The cashier without asking which specific product I am seeking proceeds to talk into her what I assume to be walkie-talkie and then tells me that all the ear warmers they have are out on the sales floor. No attempt to check the computer or explain why she couldnt look up the specific item to see if it was in stock. One would think a retail store as large as Dick's would have a better system to check inventory and also be able to assist their customers better instead of brushing them off. Safe to say will not be returning to this location again.
